Readiness Series: Packs to Purses, Everyday Carry

The more you know the less you need. A conversation and class on everyday emergency readiness gear (EDC)

A conversation and hands on demonstration of what goes into a bag you should carry with you everyday and why. Referred to as an everyday carry or (EDC), a small amount of gear can go a long way in helping you and others in times of need. Our motto is the more you know the less you need to prepare for a minimalistic approach.

In this class will explore the tools we carry with us everyday as community members and professional first responders.

Pulling from years of combined professional first response, military and international disaster response experience, we will provide you with no kidding insight as to what you should always have with you. A major focus is on utility and minimalism vs. lots of cool gear.

If you have a setup, feel free to bring your own gear to go through and to discuss.

This event is part of our Weekly Readiness Series, a weekly dialogue about what “Readiness” is and how you can go about taking proactive steps to becoming more capable. This series is designed to help you welcome readiness as a discipline and practice into your lifestyle.

It’s not about preparing for the worst but training to live your best.

*This seminar will be cancelled if less than 5 people registered. You will be notified via email 24 hours prior to the event. Monies will be refunded or may be credited toward a future event
