Readiness Series: Emergency Communications

In this seminar we will talk about the types of radio communications available to individuals and families when regular communications such as phone and internet are not available.  The discussion will include a variety of radio types such as amateur radio, FRS/GMRS, MURS, CB (yes, it still exists), and satellite phones.  Hold on to your hats, because the situation is nowhere near as rosy as radio vendors would have you think.

Ask is how you can become a certified Ham Radio Operator!

This event is part of our Weekly Readiness Series, a weekly dialogue about what “Readiness” is and how you can go about taking proactive steps to becoming more capable. This series is designed to help you welcome readiness as a discipline and practice into your lifestyle.

It’s not about preparing for the worst but training to live your best.

*This seminar will be cancelled if less than 5 people registered. You will be notified via email 24 hours prior to the event. Monies will be refunded or may be credited toward a future event.
